Ayoka Perkins

Ayoka is the Chief Events Officer for YGL National Leadership Team. She aligns the needs of members with various professional development and civic opportunities. During the day, she works as a Senior Advisor for the Department of Homeland Security, Headquarters, where she is the Strategic Planning and Performance Management Program Manager for Assets, Logistics, and Readiness. In this role, she focuses on long and short-range planning for the Department along with monitoring the effectiveness of enterprise-wide programs. In her free time, Ayoka serves on the board of several other nonprofits and enjoys traveling internationally.
