Kehli Cage

Kehli is the Director of Mentoring for Young Government Leaders (YGL), in this role she oversees the mentoring program (mentor and mentees), recruitment, workshops, and partnerships pertaining to the program. In 2015, she successfully paired more than 60 young aspiring leaders with senior level executives. Kehli began her federal career as Student Intern, and more than 7 years later she has become a professional career employee. Kehli received her undergraduate degree in Public Relations from Bowie State University and received her graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Trinity Washington University.
Kehli is proud public servant, who believes in the power of “giving back”, thus her keen interest in Mentoring. She deems herself a “lifelong learner” as she believes that we never stop learning. Kehli is an avid writer, and was a featured blogger on Govloop during the 2014 & 2015 NextGen Conference, and just recently authored an article on Federal Manager entitled; “Keeping Snake People Engaged in Government”. Kehli is also featured on: Federal News radio with Francis Rose in the segment entitled, Mentoring helps young feds answer the question, ‘What’s next?’.
